Former Little Elm football coach Kendrick Brown was announced as the new athletic director for Lancaster ISD on Thursday. Brown replaces Beverly Humphrey, who retired after last school year. Humphrey was the most successful track and field coach in state history, leading the Lancaster girls to a UIL-record 13 team state championships. 'We are thrilled to welcome Kendrick Brown as our district's new athletic director. His experience in high school sports administration and his ability to mentor and motivate students and coaches will pave the way for continued student success,' Lancaster ISD Superintendent Katrise Perera said in a statement.
