On the other hand, it has been 13 years since it was released. In that time, there hasn't been much as a whimper about a reboot, or a sequel, whether a follow-up to the original films or the 2010 remake. Some rumors have been floating around recently, though, involving Blumhouse Productions showing an interest in the A Nightmare on Elm Street property.
