CORINTH — Just before the fourth quarter of their girls basketball playoff game against Hebron on Monday, and trailing 38-36, Little Elm guard Raniyah Hunt told her backcourt partner Amarachi Kimpson to keep shooting 3-pointers, and Kimpson returned the sentiment. This would be a spark that sharpened their shooting, and started a scoring explosion. Hunt sank four 3-pointers in the fourth quarter while Kimpson added two in long-range style. This led a charge in which Little Elm scored 29 fourth-quarter points, and pulled away for a 65-52 win in a Class 6A Region I quarterfinal at Lake Dallas High School's Falcon Gymnasium.
